SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!!!

Weston is trying to show me how tough he is by pushing this huge snow ball. Notice the tongue...that is totally his mom. Why do we do that? Why doesn't it cross our minds that we might bite it off? Weird.
Kaiden is as proud as ever that he got up there all by himself. I think normally it would have taken only 5 seconds or so, but when you put a small child in all of this padding they can't do anything with out a huge effort it seems. It took him probably 3 minutes to get up here.

Yeah, we got a smiling picture. She is truly not very happy to be out here. We can't find infants snow boots so we just have her in a few pairs of socks. Needless to say, her feet are cold. Don't they make boots for a size 2??? Not like I would buy them anyway, she isn't walking (yet) and she would grow out of them in a month anyway. Instead we decided to use an old pair of Weston's gloves and strap them to her feet. Are we ghetto or what?!? I'll let you know if it actually works when we do it!!!

Wrestling Match

I am thinking that with 2 boys, it's inevitable, they are going to wrestle. So what Clayton and I have does is teach them how to do it safely. (Yes, I am rationalizing) Usually it starts out with a good grab and a throw onto the ground followed by a tackle of some sort-by either Kaiden or Weston. Then they'll roll around on the ground until either Kaiden begins to scream or Weston just starts laughing uncontrollably. Today, Kaiden had him pinned (sort of) and Weston just laughed and laughed and laughed. He could barely even hold his own head up much less breathe. All the while Kaiden just kept saying over and over, "Hold still, you're too bumpy!" Which of coarse makes Weston laugh even harder. This went on for a few minutes before Weston gasped out the words, "Stop. I need to go potty!"

Nap or No Nap?????

We can not figure out what this poor boy needs. If he gets a nap, then he doesn't fall asleep until 11 or even later-keeping Weston up in the meantime. If he doesn't get a nap, he is an absolute beast from about 3:00 til bedtime or when he falls asleep somewhere on his own (as you can see). When I try to keep his naps short and wake him up after an hour, he is super grumpy and still doesn't fall asleep until it's waaay to late. We are going crazy with all of this, and my poor baby is miserable too.

Slobbery LOVE

I can't tell if all of my vampire literature is teaching my child to eat me, or if it's just what all babies do.....either way, I LOVE IT!!!! I know, it's usually gross and slobbery, but I will be the first to admit that I DON"T cringe over that fact. To me, there is nothing better than my baby volunteering to kiss me. Until she can talk and tell me that she loves me too, this will have to do.
