Girls ONLY trip to Denali

From left to right - Melissa Castro, Cheri Gerwig, Allie Monson (and baby Reese), Tana Wyman, Jill Craig, Jenny McLean, Me, Scharlin Jones, and Maaret Ingram. All 9 of us left our kids with our husbands for 2 nights and 2 days and we went to Denali, Alaska! We had such a great time!!! Here are some of the highlights out doors, I wish I had some pictures of us in our hotel rooms though (the 2 rooms were connected) because we had some good times ~pedicures, italian cream sodas, and of coarse lots of talking and laughing!All of us in front of this awesome view when we went on a hike.

The real highlight of the trip was of coarse the rafting trip we went on! Poor Jenny couldn't go because she is prego, we sure missed her! We are all suited up and ready to hit the water!

When we would get through something really scary and crazy, we would do a group high five with our oars!! I guess you could say we were happy to be alive and IN the raft.

I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I loved rafting, but I really loved just being single without any responsibility for a couple days. I feel guilty admiting that, but it's true. It was also nice to spend so much time with not only women/friends, but all of us are good, righteous people too. I love that we talked about funny and stupid things at times, but we also talked about religious and spiritual things too. There wasn't gossiping or crude topics, it was always clean and good. I am so grateful to have such good friends in my life!
